The Best Natural Healing   Leave a comment

I am so excited to be able to offer this blog as a resource and to connect with you in this fun way. Since we’re just getting started please join now to watch us grow. I hope to be able to enrich and empower you with guides and resources for your natural health.

Where my website is more of an official resource I like the idea that we can share thoughts and opinions here on the blog. For example, I am reworking how my website (http://RosemarysSolutions.com) navigates. But I won’t give specifics on canine cancer or dosing for best results. Here, there is an opportunity for me to answer those kinds of questions and get feedback from you.

We’ll address natural health products such as:

Toxic Makeup; Pretty on the Outside, Poisoned on the Inside   Leave a comment

Recently I replaced some eye makeup I was using. It’s actually a good idea to do that from time to time. Bacteria can build up in brushes and eye shadow cakes. You can check with the experts to find out how often you should replace makeup. I have a few tips for you regarding makeup ingredients. Not all makeups are created equal. In fact, some are quite toxic to your body, may cause skin reactions and even build up in your system over time to cause immune system disorders and more.

I’ll relate the story of what I did when purchasing new makeup because I believe many of us do the same thing. Following my advice may help you to avoid some of the problems I encountered.

Do you look for sales and good buys? Well, I thought I’d save a trip to the mall and just go to my local drug store. I found a wide selection of cosmetics at good prices. The colors I wanted were all there, and a friendly clerk helped me with my selections. All good, right? Wrong! It wasn’t long after using some of the intense powder eye colors that my eyelids developed a rash. Since I bought several brands and colors, I just alternated using the different ones. Yes, I’m a slow learner and it took me a while to realize that the problem was gradually getting worse, making my eyes look puffy in the morning. I thought my immune system was off and added supplements to help, but it didn’t occur to me right away to look at the ingredients of the makeup I had purchased.

What’s in YOUR makeup? You can find out through the Environmental Working Group website, Skin Deep database. Click here. Heavy metals, preservatives, petroleum products, silica and surfactants are commonly added to cosmetics to make them bright, last long, go on smoothly and help you look pretty on the outside. However, if you take the time to read the label you might find that the products you use on a daily basis may be highly toxic to your body and accumulate over time. In my case, on a scale of one to ten, where ten is very hazardous, I was using a product rated a TEN containing BHA, aluminum powder, parabens, silica and petroleum products. It was the ultimate. Look here.

You can also use the database to find non-toxic makeups as well as other skin care products. How do your products stand up against the ratings on the Skin Deep database? My Waiora products are rated here. Not bad! I’m glad I’m doing something right!

Oh, by the way, I switched to a different makeup and put Natural Cellular Defense in my eyes to pull out the toxins. I’m already seeing and feeling a difference. The skin will take time to heal, but you can avoid mistakes and learn from me. Pass this post along to others you think will benefit.

“Garbage In, Garbage Out”   Leave a comment

I heard a doctor speak about this recently and I thought it would be a good topic for discussion. When he spoke, he was referring to the garbage some people eat and drink… fast foods, sodas, too much fat and sugars. This topic has been discussed before, and yet many people still continue to consume health limiting foods. I’d like to hear what people have to say about “garbage in, garbage out” in regards to food!

Let’s carry it now to another level; our thoughts. What is feeding your mind? Is it “garbage”? What constitutes “garbage” for your mind? Does the term “garbage in, garbage out” apply to conversations we have throughout the day? Please send your comments!
