Ginger… and the Rest of the Story   Leave a comment

My heart is poured into the journal created on my personal website to tell Ginger’s story. Her success and extended life came from love and care through natural healing, acupuncture, Reiki and supplements, especially liquid zeolite. I can’t say enough about that. But remembering that its not the destination, its the journey that’s important, I’d like to share with you here how Ginger has even more profoundly changed my life. It is the “rest of the story”.

On the morning of her last day, we were still uncertain about how events would unfold. There is a lot of emotion involved in the death of a “pet” and our Ginger was more than that to us. I had just spent the night on the floor dozing next to Ginger. She had a rough night where just shifting positions stimulated a seizure. I called my daughter  at 6:30 a.m. to let her know what was happening. She asked me if “this was it” and then asked me to meditate. On my own, I wouldn’t have thought to do that, but I rested next to Ginger and immediately a vision popped into my mind. Ginger and I were on a familiar trail in the woods and she wouldn’t walk with me. I won’t go into the details here except to say that after my lonely journey Ginger appeared to me, bathed in golden light.

Her connection to me is everlasting and I am able to open my heart to her.  Also, I have found an ability to communicate with other animals, living or passed.  I do this freely with my clients in working with their animals, especially during a health crisis. Ginger’s work goes on as we share her story and connect with more people.
