The Japanese art of healing a relaxation has long been implemented in practice for people. Did you know that animals love Reiki? A gentle laying on of hands can soothe discomforts, ease emotional trauma and promote healing on all levels. For animals, this can mean better behavior, ease of movement, a happier pet and better understanding for newly adopted pets. In addition, pets who are very ill may find comfort in Reiki to ease their transition from physical form.
If you have a pet whom you think could benefit from gentle and effective energy healing energies of Reiki you may be pleased to know that Reiki also works over a distance of time or space. The Reiki practitioner does not need to be in the same location as your pet for the healing energies to flow.
In celebration of the generous efforts of people who reach out to help animals, through adoption, foster care or sheltering, I am offering a program called “Reiki for Rescues”.
